# Local browser-editor data check

Checked on 2026-10-13. This record describes a local candidate, not a production deployment.

- Software: official PhotoCraft v0.7.0 web release, fixed upstream commit `79261615956ab21334e49ca1d384390272e647da`.
- Package: [photocraft-web-0.7.0.zip](https://github.com/storytold/photocraft/releases/download/v0.7.0/photocraft-web-0.7.0.zip).
- ZIP SHA256: `dfcbaac00f81f5d05ccffba36a14b320c1b1c7b23a4135fe54877f527e550eec`, checked against the release checksum and local package.
- Environment: macOS arm64; desktop Chrome and Playwright WebKit 27.2; separate loopback main-site and editor origins, with the editor served through a local Cloudflare workerd candidate.
- Sample: self-made 800 × 600 PNG containing geometric shapes and a colour chart. No personal photo was used. A layered PSD was also generated for compatibility checks; no public practice-pack licence is offered here.
- Journey: click the main-site editor link, open the PNG, make a visible brush edit, save a PSD using Cmd+S, return to the main site. Exported PSDs were reopened in a fresh editor session.
- Network observation: requests stayed at the two local origins, apart from local `blob:` download URLs. Zero requests to other origins and zero requests with a body were observed on both browser journeys.
- Browser storage: preferences were observed under `photocraft.preferences`; unsaved work did not survive a reload. There is no web autosave or server document-storage service in this candidate.

The application still downloads HTML, JavaScript, WebAssembly and optional font resources. Local processing does not mean that loading the application makes no network requests.

Limitations: this is one sample and one pinned version. It does not establish behaviour for every feature, future version, extension or deployment. Production network behaviour, hosting logs and retention remain unverified. Offline startup and continued offline use were not tested.

This is Try PhotoCraft's local test summary. Upstream feature claims and licences remain separate. See the [official release](https://github.com/storytold/photocraft/releases/tag/v0.7.0) and [repository](https://github.com/storytold/photocraft) for upstream information.
