About Try PhotoCraft

Learn how this independent site relates to PhotoCraft, where its evidence comes from and how to find official resources.

Explanation updated .

An independent guide to PhotoCraft

Try PhotoCraft is an independent third-party site. It is not operated by, affiliated with or endorsed by the ArtCraft team. PhotoCraft is the upstream image editor; this site provides a browser-experience guide and links to its official desktop releases.

Reading and the browser experience offered here are free and require no account. Availability is shown on the browser editor guide. Detailed tutorials, PSD/PSB tests and a Photoshop comparison are still being prepared and are not published.

Optional analytics, local editing

File editing happens locally in your browser. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics receives behavioral metadata such as page views and click events. File contents are not included. Declining keeps the site and editor fully usable. The choice is shared across tryphotocraft.com and editor.tryphotocraft.com. Use Analytics choices in the main-site footer to change it; revoking stops collection and clears this site's GA cookies. Read the details.

How to read the evidence

Official feature descriptions and product previews come from the upstream project. They are labelled as official sources, not this site's own test results. Desktop download version and source-check dates appear on the download page; checking a link does not mean every installer has been tested.

In the local candidate check of PhotoCraft 0.7.0 on 2026-10-13, Chrome and WebKit opened, edited and saved a self-made sample. That check was run before Google Analytics was added to the main site. Requests were limited to the main site and editor addresses, with no requests carrying a body. No file upload was observed in that journey.

Read the local data-check record for the package, method and limits.

The production deployment has not been verified. This observation covers one sample and one pinned build, not every file, feature, browser extension or future version. Page update dates describe changes to the explanation, not a new test of the software.

Previews, samples and licences

The product screenshots shown here are upstream previews. Their artwork is identified as public domain in the upstream image-source record. The UI screenshots retain the MIT licence and upstream notices. ArtCraft names and marks have separate trademark conditions.

The local editing checks used self-made geometric PNG/JPEG images and a generated layered PSD, with no personal photos. These are internal verification samples; this site does not currently publish a downloadable practice pack or grant a public sample licence.

PhotoCraft software is offered under MIT or Apache-2.0; check the licence included with your chosen release. That licence does not cover the whole Try PhotoCraft site. The site's ShipAny foundation has a separate proprietary licence and its source is not offered for public redistribution.

Contact

A verified operator name, author profile and site-support email have not been published. Try PhotoCraft is the site name, not a verified personal author identity. There is currently no direct contact channel for corrections or privacy requests to this site.

For a PhotoCraft software bug, use the upstream Issues page and include the version and a non-sensitive reproduction. The upstream maintainers do not operate this site or handle its support requests.
